I'm doing a lot of these bullet-point entries
+ Last night, I killed two cockroaches in the sink using a cap-full of Lysol. Which was an overkill, but it was just so satisfying to see them moving and then not moving after terrifying me to wakefulness by flying around the kitchen at 2 in the morning.

+ The National Society of Film Critics awarded Olivia for best supporting actress for The Ghost Writer. Congratulations, you awesome woman you

+ Finished the mood theme set and I've finally used it. Will be uploading it in a few minutes at [livejournal.com profile] dewitt_dominic ETA: Here it is!.

And here's the entire mood set, if you're interested (it probably has an inside joke or two)--

Who knew that the elevator scene in 1x06 can yield so many emotions?

+ I'm trying to start on another fic for [livejournal.com profile] au_bingo but The Senator's Son AU is distracting me to bits. Not to mention the stuff on my Tumblr dashboard had enabled me make an ~artwork out of Dominic/Prewett asking DeWitt out on a date. What. Even.

+ I want to eat cake. Or ice cream. Murr.

The things I do for fandom... and competition.
So, I got a little bit of an electric shock (like, for real. It's the most painful few seconds of my life) a few minutes after I woke up. We were having an electric fluctuation at home, which had gotten worse this morning and I was unplugging several appliances when the socket decided it would be nice to shock me from my sleepiness.

I have a little burn in two of my fingers and the rest of my left arm still hurts like fucking hell. And now, since half of the house doesn't have electricity, I'm now outside the house in an internet shop, internetting in my jammies. Just because I crammed 20 drabbles last night (thanks for the challenge, [livejournal.com profile] just_drifting_6 and I wanted to post [livejournal.com profile] whedonland's 20in20 before deadline.

Fangirly competitive dedication, let me show you it.

Aaaaand, I have 4 minutes left. lol

If I could breath, I would vomit
I so adored Pushing Daisies's season premiere. Ned and Chuck stripping to their underwear, pero hanggang tingin lang. Sad. :C

I had a ballet photo shoot, for a friend's photojourn class. Their theme is "action shots". Which meant that I had to jump around and do turns all around the studio. Which I did for about an hour. Then Shantinn [livejournal.com profile] rhtymc_gypsy, Jhoelle and I went to Yellow Cab and finished an 18-inch pepperoni and mushroom pizza. lol. I thought we wouldn't be able to finish it, but we did. I still can't figure out how we finished that pizza in forty-five minutes. And four big slices didn't make my stomach full. Weird.

Wait, I'm supposed to be studying for my final exam in Pol Sci. Why the hell am I still online?!

If I wanted to mingle with a bunch of geeks wearing leotards, I'd have stayed in art school.
I checked out promo pics of Pushing Daisies yesterday and I found them pretty so, I made a wallpaper.

Photobucket

I have two versions of this. The other one has a yellow-ish brown background. I couldn't decide what to save so I saved both. Lolz. :D

picture's from pushing-daisies.com; texture's from hybrid-genesis; brush is from [livejournal.com profile] dearest

Oh, and my brother and I went to LTO a while ago to register for our student driver's license and I couldn't understand why they kept asking us for our TIN Number (or whatever... I think you get that in the Bureau of Internal Revenue...). I don't earn enough money for me to pass income tax returns, you know... And then, when asked why the frak we need to give them our non-existent TIN number, they just said it's a requirement.

BITCHEZ, WHY CAN'T YOU EXPLAIN TO US WHY STUDENTS NEED TO PASS TIN NUMBERS?

Apparently, it's another way of asking bribes, my dad said.

Anywhoo, we're enrolled na. Then the driving school will help us get student driver's license on Monday. :D Jeez.

Oh, yeah. I watched the new American Gladiators last night. My siblings and I used to watch it when we were kids (I think I was six when I watched it...) and it's fun to watch it again, 14 years later. HAH. I remembered my brother and I would beat each other with pillows, to recreate the competition where the gladiator and the contender try to beat each other with uber-big ear buds. HAHA!

HAHA! My average for the first sem for my third year is 1.8! It's like the most EXCITING THING EVER! I got a 1.25 for Polsci 14 which is the most surprising grade I got since... forever. That means my policy paper was GREAT! HAHAHAHAHA! I got a 1.75 for BC103, a bit disappointing but whatever, my sleepless nights paid off.

WOW.

My lowest grade for the sem is 2.25 and I don't have a 3 (WOW, FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 4 SEMS)!

The bad thing about a 1.8 is that people will expect me to maintain my grade (or make it even higher). Shet.

Oh, and my schedule for the second sem sort of sucks. Heh.

Thailand and Cambodia were great. I lurve elephants. They're like dogs except that they can carry you in their backs, have trunks and can squish you to death. LOL. One of the temples in Thailand is made out of gold. The "emerald" Buddha (in quotation marks because its actually jade, but the monk who discovered it under plaster first thought it was emerald) had gold clothes. It was just... mind boggling. Aaaand, they can make leather out of tilapia. HAHA!

The temples in Siem Reap were amazing. I can't get it around my head that the stones and carvings have been around since 800 AD. I liked our tour guide, Mike, but his laugh sort of reminded me of the Dracula so he also creeped me out a bit. He's very knowledgeable about the places we visited, but sometimes, I couldn't understand a word he said. Also, my mom went monk-stalking. -_-

The only thing that I didn't like about the trip was the food. They were damn too spicy.
I don't have the pictures yet (my mom can't figure out where to place all our pictures since its probably more than 5 gigabytes.

This made me laugh out loud when I saw it the first time.

Admiral Adama meets Hiro Nakamura. HAHAHAHAHA!

Why I love Heroes season 2 despite the sucky storyline of Claire, Maya and Alejandro (Alejandro's hawt...)
