Writer's Block: Gone but Not Forgotten
[Error: unknown template qotd]

Again, not because I have writer's block, but because I like the topic. lolz.

The show that pulled out my inner fangirl. The reason why the internet and I are thisclose. Partly the reason why I am the way I am. XD

This is the first TV show I remember watching religiously. I wasn't allowed to watch TV during weekdays when I was kid, and I remember watching this show on a Sunday morning-- which was good because it means the show wouldn't interfere with my ballet schedule-- since this was how I prioritize things when I was eleven:
1. Ballet
2. Breathing
3. Pointe Shoes
4. School
I thought it was the coolest thing EVARRR. And I thought that Nigel was cute. I also noticed that they recycle the "forest" sets, but I DIDN'T CARE. I THOUGHT IT WAS THE GREATEST ACTION SHOW IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD!

I saw several pictures of myself during my fourth birthday party. I was wearing a red and white dress and I was carrying around my bald doll. I was also ignoring all my guests because I was watching MacGyver on TV. LULZ.

~*~*~*~

In other news, I was mauled in the gym by my classmates because, apparently,Philippine Games is such a dangerous PE class. (the games in the link isn't complete... The game we played for class was agawan bola, a variation of agawan buko and it's not there...)

If I could breath, I would vomit
I so adored Pushing Daisies's season premiere. Ned and Chuck stripping to their underwear, pero hanggang tingin lang. Sad. :C

I had a ballet photo shoot, for a friend's photojourn class. Their theme is "action shots". Which meant that I had to jump around and do turns all around the studio. Which I did for about an hour. Then Shantinn [livejournal.com profile] rhtymc_gypsy, Jhoelle and I went to Yellow Cab and finished an 18-inch pepperoni and mushroom pizza. lol. I thought we wouldn't be able to finish it, but we did. I still can't figure out how we finished that pizza in forty-five minutes. And four big slices didn't make my stomach full. Weird.

Wait, I'm supposed to be studying for my final exam in Pol Sci. Why the hell am I still online?!

Coooollllldddd
Its been raining since Friday (or was it Thursday?) last week and now I don't have clean clothes to wear to school anymore. (Solution: don't go to school.lolz)

Seriously?! LIGHT RAIN? LIGHT RAIN? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? HAVE YOU BEEN HERE, YOU WEATHER PEOPLE IN YAHOO!?

This was our activity for Journ109 (Laws on Mass Media). Rephrase this statement by Isaac Perez (People of the Philippines vs. Perez... sooo 1920s) so that it won't be proclaimed as seditious.

"The Filipinos, like myself, must use bolos for cutting off Wood's head for having recommended a bad thing for the Filipinos, for he has killed our independence."

Since my groupmates weren't in the mood to think, I was the one who rephrased it.

"Leonard Wood's recommendation killed the Filipinos' independence."

Well, we had the best paraphrase. :D Originally, this was what I was planning:

"Leonard Wood's recommendation killed the Filipinos' independence. We must do something about it. Preferably with a bolo."

LOLZ. Still seditious. Anyway, for my our efforts, we got a ten-point bonus for quizzes as a reward. HAHAHA.

I'm reading Jessica Zafra right now
She's funneh. But Ninya and I are supposed to be doing our thesis. We're redoing our objectives and doing lists, and doing comparing and contrasting stuff but that was two hours ago and now we're doing other things. Like chatting. And updating lj. And reading other stuff that's not related to the thesis. We already set up a date for the deadline for the first chapter, but that means that we have to finish chapter 4, which is data analysis. LOLZ. We haven't even watched the other three movies we're supposed to watch. It takes about half a day for us to finish two films because we have to rewind stuff and write down the lines and our comments, etc. :)

Did I mention it's raining really hard here? The rain isn't falling down vertically, it's raining horizontally because the winds are so strong. And the rain isn't continuous, they're like in bursts. Like Shantinn [livejournal.com profile] rhythmc_gypsy said, it was like, "God's playing with this huge faucet." Oooh, I braved the rain for thesis. LOLZ.

I brought my Alias s3 dvd set with me in Baguio and I'm rewatching the eps. I'm also making an Alias ep picspam, but I haven't finished it yet (the coloring and stuff... it's hard).

Oh, and I have a new printer!

Zola (it's a restaurant with free wi-fi!) has a really scary bathroom. *shivers* I'm just scared that my computer's going to get a virus and die on me when I'm doing important papers. -_-

This post is just plain randomness. -_-

Oh, and GIP. I lol'ed when I was making this. HAHA.

Oh, look, bullets
* I'm back home, enjoying a super long weekend (the teachers are having a faculty conference in Mt. Blah-blah). I've been here since yesterday and I didn't do anything productive. I just lazed on the couch, in front of the TV and watched reruns of BSG season 3 on Cinemax (wait, does that mean they're gonna show season 4 soon?) then, that evening, I re-read and edited my WIP Alias fic, which now has 25 pages (yay!).

* Speaking of Alias, Entertainment Weekly lists Evil Francie's death in S3 as a "Top 25 New Classic Farewells"

* Oh, and my printer's broken. Broken in a way that it doesn't respond to the command "print". It responds to "on" and "oh, the top lid is open, put the ink cartridge in the middle". What the frak is wrong with it? I guess it wants to be replaced?

* We have a thesis adviser already. The problem is, we don't know if we really want him to be our thesis adviser. :D

* I want to watch this movie

* Oooh, and Mary McDonnell Hijacks Edward James Olmos' Phone Interview. BECAUSE SHE'S THAT AWESOME. Very LOLable.

I'm halfway done with editing our investigative report and it just made me realize how the city government of Baguio frakked up the entire city by allowing squatting and allowing all sorts of buildings to be built. Imagine, the city was designed for only 25,000 people but the population right now is at 200,000! My god, how did we manage to fit in Baguio?

And to think that half of that number is being constituted by students. Shet, we're contributing to the overpopulation of Baguio!

I still have to do a paper but my brain is already in vacation mode. -_____- This is hard. I have to do this paper on broadcasting trends in Philippine programming and I chose Kamandag (which I just found out that its "venom" in English) as the "trend" - comic series turned into a TV show. I just realised that Richard Gutierrez is pretty hot... minus the scales. Lolz. The Lobobaya (the wolf clan) king has a nice gravelly, purring accent and the Orobaya (the bull clan) are big people. Grabe.

I got my Starbucks planner! Wo0t!

(senseless)picspam!

The first picture I took with my phone. And yes, I know that my feet are big. Hokay?

I like taking pictures of shoes. Wala lang.

The Christmas lights at the entrance of UP. I don't like the fact that we can't see the Oblation. He should have had floodlights or something because we all know that UPans worship him.

HAHA! My average for the first sem for my third year is 1.8! It's like the most EXCITING THING EVER! I got a 1.25 for Polsci 14 which is the most surprising grade I got since... forever. That means my policy paper was GREAT! HAHAHAHAHA! I got a 1.75 for BC103, a bit disappointing but whatever, my sleepless nights paid off.

WOW.

My lowest grade for the sem is 2.25 and I don't have a 3 (WOW, FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 4 SEMS)!

The bad thing about a 1.8 is that people will expect me to maintain my grade (or make it even higher). Shet.

Oh, and my schedule for the second sem sort of sucks. Heh.

Thailand and Cambodia were great. I lurve elephants. They're like dogs except that they can carry you in their backs, have trunks and can squish you to death. LOL. One of the temples in Thailand is made out of gold. The "emerald" Buddha (in quotation marks because its actually jade, but the monk who discovered it under plaster first thought it was emerald) had gold clothes. It was just... mind boggling. Aaaand, they can make leather out of tilapia. HAHA!

The temples in Siem Reap were amazing. I can't get it around my head that the stones and carvings have been around since 800 AD. I liked our tour guide, Mike, but his laugh sort of reminded me of the Dracula so he also creeped me out a bit. He's very knowledgeable about the places we visited, but sometimes, I couldn't understand a word he said. Also, my mom went monk-stalking. -_-

The only thing that I didn't like about the trip was the food. They were damn too spicy.
I don't have the pictures yet (my mom can't figure out where to place all our pictures since its probably more than 5 gigabytes.

This made me laugh out loud when I saw it the first time.

Admiral Adama meets Hiro Nakamura. HAHAHAHAHA!

Why I love Heroes season 2 despite the sucky storyline of Claire, Maya and Alejandro (Alejandro's hawt...)
