What is ACTA? ACTA is the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement. A new intellectual property enforcement treaty being negotiated by the United States, the European Community, Switzerland, and Japan, with Australia, the Republic of Korea, New Zealand, Mexico, Jordan, Morocco, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, and Canada recently announcing that they will join in as well.

And I'm baaaaack

The Singapore trip was awesome! We basically just went around and ate Hainanese Chicken Rice and some duck, but of course, the highlight of the trip is the visit to Universal Studios!

This ride is as awesome as it looks

BEST RIDE EVER. It's worth the 75-minute wait (plus, Admiral Adama, Starbuck, Six and Cavil telling you to kill the enemy? The fangirl in me can't stop squeeing in glee).

I'm trying to figure out how to fix the vid I made of the rollercoaster being all rollercoaster-y without my graphics card crashing on me (since a 3000x2000 vid size is probably too much for anyone).

Also, I got a BSG shirt.

UGH

I am in no mood to do anything remotely creative. My tumblr is at a standstill because I'm too lazy to continue my Reed/Olivia/DeWitt/Dominic spam. My entry for the Palanca Awards is at a standstill because my writing muse hasn't shown up since... since I finished ASITHoL AU #1.

Augh. And I have this headache. I don't know if it's because of the heat or because of dehydration or because I'm not breathing enough air. What is this life.

I don't like this. My brain.

The things I do for fandom... and competition.

So, I got a little bit of an electric shock (like, for real. It's the most painful few seconds of my life) a few minutes after I woke up. We were having an electric fluctuation at home, which had gotten worse this morning and I was unplugging several appliances when the socket decided it would be nice to shock me from my sleepiness.

I have a little burn in two of my fingers and the rest of my left arm still hurts like fucking hell. And now, since half of the house doesn't have electricity, I'm now outside the house in an internet shop, internetting in my jammies. Just because I crammed 20 drabbles last night (thanks for the challenge,

My life is bo-ring.

Augh, being computer-less is awful. And apparently, it's not just my motherboard's that fucked up-- one of my memory card slots is defective, so instead of having 2.5 GB of RAM, I'll only have 2 GB. Craptastic

In fandom news:

- Reed's pilot has been picked up TNT (the pilot was done for TBS, but TNT picked it up. The change in network also means that there's a change in genre too. Instead of it being a legal comedy, it's now a legal drama. Crap. Dude from Raising the Bar's like, one of the leads-- Raising the Bar was cancelled by TNT after two horribly rated seasons)

- Fran was fired from Friends with Benefits. *sighs* I was cheering for NBC for cancelling Heroes and picking up FwB, but they fire Fran and I was all, :((( Fuck NBC.

I am also sharing

dollsome's nostalgia bug for Dollhouse, but alas, I don't have the time for a rewatch as of yet (computer-less, augh). Although after watching The Kid (with Bruce Willis, Emily Mortimer and Spencer Breslin), I suddenly had a Dollhouse/The Kid plot bunny starring a chubby-cheeked, eight-year-old Laurence Dominic. LAWLZ. Too cute for words.

Hmm... that is all. :S

I had my Civil Service Exam a few hours ago. It was kinda difficult, but I finished it (thank god). I don't know if I'll pass-- passing rate is 80% and only 10% of the people who take it pass. -_-

AUGH. Just checked out IE7 and realized that my paragraphs in my entries are all smooshed up together. Ewww. ATTN: this layout works a whole lot better with Mozilla. And probably with IE8 and above, but IDK, I don't have IE8. lol.
