CASTLE is a totally enjoyable show. I love it so much. Everybody's just so adorkable and pretty and witty and so damn fun. I love Beckett and her controlling self and I love how Castle annoys her and how they're just so cute and squishable. I love Castle, his mom and his daughter (omg, one of the most awesome families in the TV-land). I love Beckett and her task force. I love the poker nights. I love Beckett and Castle all "Oh, we're not really interested with each other, blah blah blah." HEEE.
And I enjoy the tension between Castle and Beckett so much that I really don't want them to end up together-- not yet. THEY'RE JUST SO FUN BICKERING.
The only thing that is sort of a drawback for me is that I seem to know what the twist is going to be after they introduce the suspects/family/friends. *shrugs* But then, I've been reading mystery novels since I was a kid; unusual deaths normally have unusual twists and since Castle deals with unusual, sorta creepy deaths, it's a given that there will be a twist.
What struck me the most about the show is that there's always a story behind the killings, unlike in
CSI that if they don't get the story why killer killed the victim, they won't really ask because it's not their jobs. In
Castle, they don't have the killer yet but there's already a nice story by Castle. And they start the ep by showing the dead body with a pretty (or haunting) background music. AND IT'S PERFECT. I LOVE YOU SHOW.
And now I leave you with the picture of the most adorkable family on television right now:
