Whedonland -- "The Attic"
For [livejournal.com profile] whedonland's challenge, "Spin-Off"

The Attic

As Laurence Dominic (Reed Diamond) stays behind to dismantle Rossum from the inside, he and Clyde Randolph (Adam Godley) travel throughout the Attic to discover the weakness of the mainframe. Dominic and Clyde thought it would be easy— after all, they’ve navigated through the trenches of this terror-fueled hell before. They even managed to pull out a few people from their worst nightmares and they’ve agreed to help them with their task.

However, Dominic quickly realizes that Echo, Sierra and Victor’s escape did not go unnoticed. As each jump from one mind to another becomes more dangerous and terrifying, Dominic wonders if he made the right decision in staying behind. And it doesn’t help that one of his worst fears has come back to haunt them. And it’s not easy trying to outwit the Adelle DeWitt (Olivia Williams) of his nightmares.

Andrew Divoff as Leon Kovalev

Leon Kovalev was the former head of security of the Moscow Dollhouse and one of the few people who overpowered Arcane. After a failed coup in the Moscow branch, the head of the house sent him and ten others to the Attic.

Malese Jow as Lili Hsu

Lili Hsu used to be the girl wonder of the Hong Kong Dollhouse until the extreme competition inside her own branch leads her to being sent in the Attic (“it’s that Belgian Hansel's fault”). She reminds Dominic of Topher; Clyde thinks she’s the most delightful person ever.

Richard T. Jones as Ben Taylor

Ben Taylor was the head of the Huston Dollhouse before being successfully deposed by his former head of security, under the orders of Clyde Randolph. Nobody knows which version had him Attic’ed, nor the reason for his “retirement”

Ruth Negga as Viola

Viola was an Active in the London Dollhouse and was sent to the Attic after a series of unfortunate glitches that led to a fire in a socialite’s house. She can’t remember who she was before she became an Active, but she’s pretty sure it was because of drugs (or larceny? Probably?)

Anna Torv as Diana

Diana, an Active from the Washington Dollhouse, is the newest member of the Attic. It was easy to get her out of her nightmare although everybody had to eat a giant marshmallow man first. Little is known about her, but Dominic has this nagging feeling that she's not who she says she is.

THIS is fantastic. #1 Reed Diamond. You can never go wrong with him. #2 Anna Torv. #3 Multiculturalism. And a stupendous premise. Wow.

Everybody needs more Reed Diamond and Anna Torv in their lives (and evil!Sexy!Olivia Williams), even if they don't know it :D

I thought the spin-off should show multiculturalism. I think they said The Attic is all off the Attics of all the Dollhouses combined. I kinda sorta regretted (but not really) choosing the actors I chose because they do not have enough pictures on the internet.

Thanks!
