“I love him. But he’s killing me.”
The inevitable picspam.

That Guy is Hank and that other Guy is Olivia's character's husband. Husband wants Hank to follow his wife because Husband thinks she's cheating on him.

Couldn't have Harmon (or is it Arman?) gotten a sexier and prettier picture of his wife? Because if Olivia Williams was my wife, I'd actually fill my office space with her pictures. Which is kinda ~creepy.

So, we meet Olivia as Hank is following her. This scene is very reminiscent of her dinner scene in the Sixth Sense, Y/Y

Miriam doesn't have a change for the parking, so she asks for Random Stranger who isn't Random (because he's Donal Logue) if he has change for a twenty.

Hank:“It’s modern technology making man obsolete. Happened to my old job.”
Miriam:“What did you do?”
Hank:[pause] “I was a microwave oven.”

LOL. I am ambivalent to her American accent.

Hank follows her home and sees Miriam crying in the car. DDDDD:

Okay, so basically, what happened was that the husband didn't believe that Miriam was cheating on him because apparently, she was with someone the night before. Hank, because the condition of getting evidence would mean that he can get a loan (Harmon/Arman is the president of the bank, I think), asks to stay on the case for a few more days.

Wouldn't it be great if your job is to follow Olivia Williams all the time?

My caps make her look like a glowing angel. I like it.

So this is kinda what would happen to you if you follow Olivia Williams like a creepy stalker.

Ahaha, her face <3

She and Hank's partner, Britt, help Hank wash away the mace from his face. And she does it so fabulously.

So, Hank basically asks why her husband thinks that she's cheating on him. And Miriam answers that, "oh, no. He wants me to cheat and then tell him all about the lurid details." And Hank and Britt are all, "wtf, is he a masochist?" and she's all, "um. yes. I was his doctor." She quit her practice so that she can be with him. Oh, Miriam. Why did you do this to yourself? DDDD: (she also quoted Norman Bates)

So she's been lying about having an affair with someone so that her husband could have some sort of sexual gratification when with her or whatever. All the time.

So they devise a plan. But first, Britt needs to get his girlfriend away from her place because some guy is threatening them.

She's awesome in this ep, isn't she?

They pass by Hank's place first. She does not approve of the living conditions

She's secretly ~psychologizing him (HO HO MADE UP WORD)

Is it me or did they get wardrobe from Adelle DeWitt's closet?

So, what are we going to do?

Cut to next scene. A creepy parking space of a motel.

Hank explains that they have to fake the affair. Excellent.

I love the way they shot this like it's through a camera lens. <3

OMG, BRITT IS A NEVER NUDE. hahahaha! Oh, and that's his girlfriend, Katie. She's going to direct the fake adultery (because Britt likes getting direction)

THIS SHOULD BE WATCHED. THE AWKWARD AND FUNNY IS JUST... rotflmao

Just. So. Sexy. Britt looks so uncomfortable, omg. haha!

Miriam appears on Hank's door, saying that Harmon/Arman bought it. But there's just one problem. He wants to watch the next time. :OOOOO

"I love him. But he's killing me." And she doesn't want to let him go. DDDDDDDDDDDDDD:

Miriam realizes that he's as broken as she is. So she kisses him and they fall to the floor.

So remember that getting evidence of the affair would mean that Hank would get his loan, right? Well, the following day, Harmon/Arman declines his loan saying that Miriam told him that they faked the pictures. Harmon/Arman then says that he's going to leave Miriam. Hank, angry, then decides to tell Harmon/Arman that he had first-hand proof-- he had sex with Miriam, blah blah blah. Which all basically led to Harmon/Arman signing his loan blah blah and then him jumping to his death. Oh, and since Harmon/Arman missed a paper, Hank also forged his signature in one form.

Hank arrives in Miriam's house to offer his condolence. I kinda thought she'd be holding an orgy because I thought she was a master manipulator and stuff (thanks, Joss and JJ for giving me this way of thinking), but apparently, she truly loved her husband. And then the truth is revealed and QUE HORROR, HANK. She thought you were a friend!

And that concludes Olivia Williams being awesome in Terriers with an American accent. The actual ending of this episode was very wtf wat is dat-ish. Yeah.

+ Please don't post in Tumblr. I'll do that myself.
+ If you want icons from the caps, just let me know, I saved my psds.

SO MUCH PRETTY! Olivia was pretty much the only thing worth watching in the episode, I was bored the rest of the time, but she was preettttttyyyyy, and yes on all the men should have been played by Reed Diamond.

I got bored with it too! Haha. But Olivia made everything better. Every time she was on screen, I'd just go :DDDDD

I suddenly imagined myself opening photoshop and 'shopping Reed's head against all the guys in the ep. lol.

She was really really pretty in this episode. And so so broken.

And yes, they so totally stole from DeWitt's wardrobe. And from her closet of facial expressions too.

Olivia gave a truly superb performance.

Her character needed a hug. Lots and lots of hug and therapy.

She looked fab in this ep. I especially loved her shoes and her coat. <3

I was floored. She came on my screen and I just gaped because of the pretty. This woman. She is just so gorgeous, and truly the best thing about the episode for me. I actually really liked her and Hank, though, of course, Dominic >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Hank. JS.

I liked the motel scene with her, Britt and Britt's GF. It was the most awkward thing I've seen in months. Full of lulz

She was glorious in this episode! Her short hair worked better here than it did in Dollhouse. They kept it a bit too sleek in Dollhouse, but here it was roughed up a little, windswept and it worked so much better.

Also, her Brit accent came through a few times and made me LOL.

Did you like the show, though? (I'm a fan of it and this episode just cemented that fact.)

I love how loose her hair is in this ep. It looked so much more natural. I hated her haircut before, but with this ep, I appreciate it so much more <3

I actually just ignored the way she talked. It kinda reminded me of how Alexis Denisof talked. He really doesn't sound American.

Unfortunately, it's not my kind of show. It's a solid show, though, and the writing's good. There were some scenes that were genuinely laugh-out-loud moments for me.

Exactly! Honestly, the first time I saw her hair for season two of DH I HATED it. Like, I felt it fit the character, kinda her way of self-mutilation following Dominic's betrayal, a way of trying to release herself from her ties to him, but visually I hated it.

Oh, ALEXIS DENISOF. He really doesn't. And I love him anyways.

It's very...gritty and true? It has it's moments of hilarity and it's moments of dead serious drama, but it's just so...rough. I think taht's what I like most though. (I'm very weird about shows, though, and somewhat random.)

I agree! The way they styled her hair was part of the character. The state of Adelle DeWitt directly affected how they styled Olivia and though I totally understand (I admire it, actually), I really hated how severe they styled her hair. And all because of Dominic's betrayal. Huhuhu. (although the closest I've ppreciated the styling was in 2x11-- but there were probably some behind-the-scenes things that factored behind the waviness).

I love Alexis Denisof too! Oh, Wesley, my heart DDD;

Well, it's an FX show, so I guess gritty is... required? Haha

That's actually how I explained the show to someone. I was like "It's The Shield, but without the violence." It's just...I don't know, I like it. *shrugs*

Also, I kinda really wanted Olivia to stick around. I need her on my tv on the regular or I'm going to implode. (I need more Joss too! I give it two years. If I don't get new Joss show by then, I die.)
