Thank you, Captain Apollo for saving our collective asses
I'm watching Battlestar Galactica's miniseries and I'm amazed at how everyone looked so young here, but at the same not look as hot as they are right now. (I mean, my gods, Starbuck's man hair is scary... And Roslin's hair is awful. Well, actually, everyone's hair is awful. OMGs!) And it's quite disconcerting for me to hear "Commander Adama" as compared to "Admiral Adama". Hee, Resurrection Ship Part 2, you're something to look forward to.

And lol about the fact that in the miniseries, Gaeta's the only one qualified to plot FTL jumps. And FTL jumps are like, supposed to complicated and even a degree off can land someone in the middle of the sun (I'm loosely paraphrasing Col. Tigh here) And now, in season 4, even a nugget like Sam Anders can plot 5-10 FTL jumps in one sitting (The Road Less Travelled, anyone? lolz.)

- "We had something Gauis. Something...special."

- Oh, head!Six. You were the first character that I really found interesting. But my love for Laura "Madame Airlock" Roslin grew greater in season 2. I mean, that woman is FIERCE. FIERCE!
- Oh, wow. Mary McDonnell's legs are as great in the miniseries as they are right now.
- Oh, Lee. You're not a tool yet. (I remember when I first saw the miniseries, I was like, oooh, Captain Adama is hawt).
- Slimy Doral. You frakking cylon in an awful utilitarian red suit.
- And the conversation that told me that Battlestar Galactica is THE TV show to watch

Laura: I have cancer.
Billy: I know. Little things. Couple of comments you made.
Laura: My prognosis is doubtful. I wish I could say it was the least of my worries. But the world is coming to an end and all I could think about is that I have cancer and I'm probably going to die. How selfish is that?
Billy: It's not selfish. It's human.

- I bet the miniseries is a great episode to screen cap
- Leoben looks gray. Hehehehe.
"Something in the air is affecting my allergies."
lolz. It's not allergy. Its radiation sickness.

- Rewatching BSG is making me realize how GODSDAMNED FASCINATING THE SHOW IS.
- Tigh fighting with Roslin is adorkable.
- Oh, and the reunion scene between Boomer and Chief (haha, cylonz) + the music *melts* I know it's not Bear's but the music is still great!
- Leoben looks so scary. Now I know the reason why I thought he was creepy until the episode where he and Kara made out in her dream. His allergies made him look pasty. Teh lolz.
- Gaeta has a crush on Baltar. HAHAHAHAHA.

Hayyy. The miniseries makes me want to re-read [livejournal.com profile] gidget_zb's The Price of Supremacy. It's an AR fic, the start of a series of fics.

But I'm supposed to be in thesis mode. So, I'll probably do that during the semestral break. lolz.

But yay about BSG on C/S! I'm going to survive the hiatus! Wheee!
